The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is designed to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals in managing cardiovascular emergencies. This intensive training program focuses on the systematic approach to adult cardiovascular emergencies, emphasizing the importance of team dynamics and communication during resuscitation attempts.
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate proficiency in high-quality CPR and effective team dynamics during resuscitation
- Recognize and manage cardiac arrest rhythms using appropriate ACLS algorithms
- Interpret 12-lead ECG findings and identify acute coronary syndromes
- Manage acute stroke patients according to current evidence-based guidelines
Prerequisites
- Must hold a valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
