Overview

The BLS course provides foundational training in recognizing life-threatening emergencies and performing high-quality CPR, ventilations, and early AED use across adult, child, and infant cases. SCFHS-accredited and essential for healthcare professionals in clinical, emergency, and pre-hospital settings.

Learning Objectives

Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants following the latest resuscitation guidelines.

Recognize cardiac arrest early and activate the emergency response system effectively.

Demonstrate effective ventilations using barrier devices and provide early defibrillation with an AED.

Recognize and manage choking for adults, children, and infants using appropriate relief techniques.
